Beth van der pol
Beth is a lifelong learner passionate about knowledge sharing. She’s spent years of her life studying the craft of writing, gaining a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and English literature. She doesn’t believe that you need to get a degree to write but she does believe that the more you know about your craft, the more comfortable you’ll become with your writing abilities.
Beth’s goal is to make sure that no writer feels like an imposter. She aims to do this by giving you the tools you’ll need to thrive in writing and get your work on a bookshelf!
I’ve been writing since I was a kid. I’ve spent my whole life telling stories, but there was a time in my teenage years that I began to feel inadequate when it came to my writing. A few too many people had laughed at my goal of becoming a writer and I’d been stuck on my novel for a bit too long… So I just gave up.
I stopped writing for years, switched to a degree in catering and made myself deeply unhappy.
Eventually I found my way back to writing and retrained in a field that I love. My main goal now is to make sure no writer goes through the painful years of self-doubt that defined my younger years. I’m here to take on imposter’s syndrome one guide at a time and give you the advice you need to not succeed in the writing world.
If you want to write a book I believe you can.
I can’t wait to see you on the bookshelf!
